Every spring, Strawberry 6th grade students participate in a four-day residential program of Outdoor Science Education at Walker Creek Ranch. The outdoor school, operated by the Marin County Office of Education, is located west of Petaluma in an environment of diverse natural habitats, providing students with rich opportunities in scientific discovery and learning. Students live in cabins in small groups, supervised by parent volunteers. Walker Creek is always a highlight in sixth grade. Your child will gain knowledge and skills, and make new friends and lasting memories.
