Ms. Lindsay Walter

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I went to the University of Colorado at Boulder for undergrad, where I received a Bachelor Degree in Psychology in 2002. While at Boulder I took an introduction to teaching class that sparked my interest in potentially becoming a teacher. After college I decided to go to the University of San Francisco to pursue my teaching career. I later graduated from USF with a Masters Degree in Teaching Reading and a Multiple Subject credential in 2005.

After graduation from USF, I started my teaching career in the Bay Area teaching 3rd and 4th grade. I later moved to Nashville, TN, where I taught 4th grade for two years. I have been teaching in Sonoma County for the last five years. I taught 3rd grade at Sonoma Country Day School and 1st grade at Healdsburg Charter School.

In my free time I enjoy running and training for marathons. Since 2007 I have completed over 21 marathons and have participated in the Boston Marathon five times. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and playing with my two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
