Raised in Santa Rosa, I graduated from SRHS and got my BS from Chico State. After college, I moved to Austin Texas and worked in film production which brought me all over the United States. After receiving my teaching credential in Texas in 2011, I taught Kindergarten in Taipei, Taiwan, 4th grade in Austin, Texas, 3rd grade in Pasadena, California. By 2017/18 I was back in Santa Rose, job-sharing in a 5th grade classroom at Strawberry Elementary.
As a third-generation classroom teacher, I’m proud to come from a long line of educators. I enjoy playing indoor soccer, doing yoga, reading, walking with my dog and spending time with friends and family. I take every opportunity to travel the globe - from Bali to Peru to Bhutan - immersing myself in different cultures.
I’m passionate about fostering a safe classroom environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to explore and grow at their individual paces. We make an effort in my classroom to build positive relationships and learn from each other all year long. Go Eagles!!!
