Welcome to the Library

The Strawberry School Library contains a collection of over 15,000 materials covering the curriculum appropriate for each grade level served at the school. Our collection catalog (OPAC) is fully automated and accessible via the Internet from any computer in the district and outside the district. The library and the computer lab share a building complex that allows integration of both programs giving library students access to the automated card catalogue, the Internet, and word-processing.

The weekly program is broken down into three essential parts. In the first part, specific genres or authors are highlighted and students are given a chance to recommend their own book choices. In the second part of class, students use searching skills to find books and research class projects. The last part of class is devoted to reading!
