Instructor for Strawberry “Gleegles” Chorus: 1 hour per week, Mondays 1:45 – 2:45 (after the minimum day). The pay rate is $45.90 per hour. Sixty minute sessions are paid 90 minutes to compensate the instructor for preparation time.
Minimum qualifications: Must love kids, want to teach singing, be able to sing, read music and transcribe music to suit young students (4th – 6th grade), pass fingerprint clearance, provide proof of a negative tuberculin test, and have a high school diploma. Experience teaching singing to elementary aged students is preferred.

Art Instructor Position
VISUAL ARTS INSTRUCTOR POSITION
Bennett Valley Union School District is recruiting qualified applicants for the following position, funded entirely by the generous donations to and fund raising efforts by the Bennett Valley Education Foundation. This part-time position is not a part of the collective bargaining agreements nor eligible for medical benefits. Lesson dates for the 2021-22 school year TBD.
Visual Arts Instructor: Each of Yulupa’s 29 classes of TK – 3rd grade students and Strawberry’s 15 classes of 4th – 6th grade students, receive 5 forty minute lessons in visual arts, art history, technique, and critique. The pay rate is $45.90 per hour. The 40 minute sessions are paid 60 minutes to compensate for preparation time.
Minimum qualifications: Experience teaching students art, must love kids, be an artist and able to instruct young students (K – 6th grade), pass fingerprint clearance, provide proof of a negative tuberculin test, and have a high school diploma.
